Dr. Alexander Evans serves as the Chief Medical Officer of the AlliedHealth organization. In addition, he is the Trauma Medical Director at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford, Florida. He attended Medical School at the University of Florida. He then matriculated to a residency in General Surgery along and acquired a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) both from the University of Illinois at Chicago. In addition, he completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Evans spent six years as an active duty general and trauma surgeon in the United States Navy, rising to the rank of Commander. He served two tours, one in the Middle East and a second in Afghanistan. He is actively involved in improving healthcare across the hospital and the community. He is an Associated Professor of Surgery at the University of South Florida and Clinical Professor of University of Central Florida. Dr. Evans both directs and consults for many local and statewide organizations and continues to serve the community by promoting public health initiatives, advancing regenerative medicine, and focusing on healthcare quality improvement programs.
